Wordless Wednesday - My first grader's Leprechaun Trap!

Tuesday's Till #2

Nothing much to report this week in the garden. Planted more seeds and a few more veggies.

As I said last week we live in base housing which I love, at our base housing is privatized and Lincoln provides really great lawn service, the only thing is that they come on Thursdays and for what ever reason didn't last week so our grass is super long. Well we are having a last minute BBQ tomorrow for my BIRTHDAY. YAY me, one year older. UGH.  Anyway, the grass just won't make it til Thursday.

This weeks blog post is just a few pictures, two of MyLove cutting our grass so it is presentable and fun to frolic in tomorrow afternoon, one of my favorite pair of yard boots, and then the last one is of a dirty little garden fairy, isn't she beautiful???

I have been a military family member for over 25 years.  My Dad was in the Navy and to his dismay I married a Lean Mean Killing Machine, ok maybe not so much but still a MARINE.

This is MyLove 13 years ago when he was in Japan, he was stationed there 6 months after we were married for an unaccompanied year tour.  Welcome to the CORPS right?

After lots of moves, schools and years of just "US" FUN!

 I got THREE Hands FULL!

We had our first, Reese, 6 years ago. She is a smart little girl that I love to just listen to.

Two years after that came Paige, she has had a tough little life but

amazes me and pushes my buttons at the same time.

and our not so baby, is Claire.  My BRUISER!

Thursday Three

I am starting something new here on my blog. 

Today is my first Thursday Three!

This week please tell me your three favorite vegetables.  Here are mine.

1.  Spinach - I can eat spinach in the morning in my eggs, at lunch on my sandwich and again at dinner in my salad.  I just love me some spinach.

2.  FRESH tomatoes - quartered with salt and pepper.  Simple and delish.

3.  Avocado - creamy rich and full of that good for you fat.

I know sharing your favorite vegetable is not the most exciting thing to share, I am on a gardening kick this week so I thought we might start off with that first.
