Reese's turn

Ok, so Thursday afternoon, March 6th, Reese woke up from nap and seemed very warm to me but I hoped that it was just that she slept in two layers of shirts, jeans and socks. She is normally just a t-shirt kind of sleeper. Craig had invited a few of his Marine buddies over for a nice home cooked meal so I let Reese just chill on the couch, as Craig's friends arrived she just seemed to become more unsocial which I just hoped was the little girl in her being shy, but about an hour after everyone got here and was eating she threw up all over herself and side of the couch. Poor thing was so embarrassed. No body really noticed because they were all in the dining room. I got her all cleaned up and settled in our bed with a bunch of towels, and with in 30 mins she wanted to run around and play, so we stayed back in the back of the house. Everyone went home, and we went to bed, praying that this was just a one time deal, it was, but we didn't get off completely. At around 10 she woke up with a fever of 102 so I gave her some Tylenol then at 2 she woke up and her fever had spiked to 104.1 at this point I was a bit worried to say the least. I gave her some ibuprofen and waited a bit... at 3:30 her temp was still at 102.4 so Craig and I decided I better take her to the ER. So about 4 hours later we were home with antibiotics in hand to treat her ear infection and upper respiratory infection. To me Reese has always gotten sick QUICK. Just BAM. So here are a few pictures of Miss Reese enjoying her cartoons and popsicle (7am) after we were told we would be going home soon. YAY.
