Evening at The Ghost Town in The Sky...

Sorry for the delay in posting here. I tried four times to add pictures to this post but everytime it didn't happen... UGH.. I am actually typing this as blogger "uploads" the pictures again. PLEASE WORK... We spent tonight (Saturday) evening up at the house of the owner of The Ghost Town in the Sky, thanks to Chris R.'s uncle Tim. The house was huge and gorgeous and is way up on top of the mtn.. with spectacular views. Here are a few pictures. Thank you Tim for a great evening of music and snacks. :)

Playing in the snow at Cataloochee

We decided to go up to Cataloochee with everyone today and play in the snow. We were there for about an hour or so while all of our friends picked up their rentals and bought their lift tickets. The girls had a lot of fun, and if it hadn't been so crowded we might have let Reese join the ski school for an afternoon session. Maybe tomorrow.

Yay, we have hot water finally. Craig has been outside with the maintenance man for about 2 hours and they finally have unfrozen our lines... I think. :) That is good because its supposed to be 1 degree tonight. BRR BRR Brrr.

First Day of Trip and we have arrived....

We are here in Maggie Valley, NC at the Triple Play cabin. We love it. The cabin is so NICE, thank you Katrina for finding such a gem for us to play in for the weekend. One glitch at the moment, no hot water and the gas fireplace wasn't working, we have a fire now and Craig and the maintenance man are working on the hot water... PLEASE work. Other than that we had a pretty good 8 hour drive. The girls really handled it very well. We stopped a few more times than planned to let potty training Paige do her business. At one point we realized that we drove in VA, TN and NC all with in a hour. CRAZY. I think Craig is going skiing tomorrow and Reese might go to ski school. Paige and I might run down into Asheville to buy a new air mattress for the girls to sleep on, ours didn't make it through the trip, I think it got too cold.
