Aunt Ashleigh's Visit...
We got lucky to get a chance to see Aunt Ashleigh for a little while on her travels from CA to NC to visit her family. The girls were so excited to spend some time with her. She is the first and almost the only family we get to see this year. Its just not the same as last year with her and Uncle Luke and Granny and Aunt Mae Mae here. Any time we can get we love, thank you so much Ashleigh, Audra and Dan to take the time to stop in for a quick visit.
We LOVE you ASH!
Merry Christmas LUKE!

Pregnancy Update...
I was 16 weeks this past Saturday so naturally I had my 16 week appointment this am. Everything is looking great with baby #3. The first quad screen test came back normal and I had the second blood test today, it's so different now than when I had Paige. The baby's heart beat was right at 130, strong and healthy. I have gained two of the four pounds back that I had lost. YAY! I get to schedule my 20 week ultrasound in the next few days once it hits the referral system, the joys of Tricare. The girls are getting excited I have been feeling some movement and I can't wait for Craig and the girls to feel it.

"Merry Christmas" from the Penguin Class
I am so excited, Craig bought me a new camera for Christmas and I got it early because I need to take alot of pictures during this HOLIDAY SEASON. I had a great chance to use it today for the first time at Reese's Class Christmas Party. The Penguin class put on an adorable program full of songs and laughter. We then ate pizza together and passed out gifts. Paige and I had a great morning with Reese and her class, THANK YOU Mrs Ruth & Mrs Gina.
This is Reese and Mrs. Gina, one of her teachers. Today was her last day and Reese loves her so much and she will be missed. GOOD LUCK in OHIO!
Here is a video of Reese's Class singing "We wish you a Merry Christmas," so cute.

Christmas Tradition 2
Gingerbread house...
Every year we build a gingerbread house of some sort. Last year we got too ambitious and put together three kits, a gingerbread house, gingerbread train, and a gingerbread Christmas tree. This year we found a more simpler kit that still had a house, tree and two little "girls" to decorate. We found it a lot more family friendly and the girls really got into decorating the tree themselves and creating their own gingerbread girls. Once the house was assembled the helped add all the finishing touches. A lot of candy and icing was consumed and here we are a few hours later and they still seem to be on sugar highs.

Christmas Tradition 1
It's Granny Wright cheese ball time..
A Christmas tradition in Craig's family is making homemade cheese balls. The recipe is very good. It's a lot of fun and mess to make. I always make the cheese ball "dough" up and Craig and his siblings would roll it up but since no one is coming here this year Reese stepped up to the plate and helped her Daddy shape the cheese ball/logs up and into the season/nut mixture. They had a lot of fun and definitely got their hands messy.
Can't wait to dig in.

Christmas Party Playdate...
The girls and I hosted our yearly Christmas Party Playdate here at the house this morning and had a great time. Our friends brought yummy treats to share, thank you all so much. I am still thinking about the artichoke dip... OH MY. Preggers belly LOVED. The little girls (not just mine, was a house literally of 15 ladies... from the age of maybe 10 days to well I won't tell you all how old I am since I am pretty sure I was the oldest there) exchanged wrapped Christmas themed books. There were a few friends that weren't able to come and were sadly missed, you know who you are. I am sorry my pictures look so funny.. they are taken with my phone and as soon as we can we will buy a new camera for better shots to share.
